Following the phenomenal success of the 2017 British Shooting Show the news that the event will now move to the NEC Birmingham for 2018 has been met with an incredible response from the gun trade and is set to propel the show to a level, never before seen in the UK’s shooting event calendar. The cost of trade stands for exhibitors will not increase as a result of the move, making exhibiting at the show a viable option for larger, well known companies and smaller specialist traders alike.
UK and overseas exhibitors including major first time exhibitors are already working closely with the British Shooting Show in planning their requirements for 2018. Bookings for the show have reached an all-time high and with exhibitors from around the globe, including Europe, South Africa and the United States, the show will gain a real international feel.

New for 2018 and following demand from manufacturers, the ‘Trade Only’ area will give exhibitors the option to showcase product ranges and services exclusively to the shooting industry. This is already proving to be a popular choice with an overwhelming number of exhibitors booking stands in the trade only and public areas .
For visitors travelling to the show, it couldn’t be easier. The NEC is positioned in the middle of the UK’s motorway network and for 75% of the UK population that means less than a three hour drive to the show. The show organisers have prepaid the cost of car parking at the show making it free for all visitors. With trains arriving directly to the NEC from mainline rail networks many visitors will choose to travel by rail and take advantage of the discounted Virgin train fares for show visitors. Overseas visitors will also find their journey to the show a lot easier with nearby Birmingham International Airport and its connecting monorail, taking visitors from the airport directly to the NEC in ninety seconds. Entry tickets for the show will go on sale from 1st April and will remain at the same price with the same concessions.

The move to the NEC coincides with the tenth anniversary of the British Shooting Show and what better way could there be of celebrating ten years of providing the shooting industry with the largest public shop window in Europe!
