Many shooters love the versatility that comes from mounting accessories to their rifles, and fitting a bipod is a major step forward for some, with the additional stability that is afforded from shooting in this way. Once in place, it can act as a convenient gun rest too. A sling is another option that is a must for some, and both routes require a strong mounting point on the gun.

Aeron make a wide selection of accessories for the shooter, and this neat little adaptor block will be a Godsend for any shooter, keen to fix that bipod or sling in place. Machined from highgrade aluminium and weighing just 3oz, it’s designed to clamp straight onto a Weaver/ picatinny style accessory rail. Twin Allen bolts hold it tight, and once in place, it provides a strong eyelet which can either be used to accept a bipod linkage, or act as the front sling swivel mount. Indeed, a variety of accessories can be added, and the quality of manufacture means it won’t look out of place on any rifle.
