Tailor Your Power: inside the BRK Ghost High Power Special Edition

In this review, we take a deep dive into the BRK Ghost Special Edition High Power (HP), a rifle that has redefined modularity in the world of high-performance airguns. While the standard Ghost has already built a formidable reputation, we are testing the FAC-rated .25-calibre beast to see if it truly justifies its ‘Special Edition’ status.

Equipped with a 28” barrel and pushing out a massive 75 ft/lbs of energy, this isn’t just an air rifle; it’s a precision chassis system designed to be tailored to the individual shooter. From the Huma-Air regulator to the innovative tensioned barrel system, we examine every technical detail that makes this rifle a standout in the high-power category.

What we cover:
-The SE package: first impressions of the striking blue finish, the custom hard case, and the integrated BRK ML silencer.

-The monocoque chassis: why a rigid alloy frame is the backbone of the Ghost’s accuracy and how it allows for complete calibre versatility.

-Tailoring the power: a walkthrough of the 20-position power wheel, the Huma-Air regulator, and the colour-coded hammer spring tuning kits.

-Ergonomics for the modern shooter: how the sliding Picatinny rail and adjustable Gecko recoil pad accommodate shooters of all sizes (including Ed’s 6’6” frame).

– Range performance: testing the Rangemaster Emperor pellets at 50m and beyond
