Weihrauch FT Exact Pellets

Review

Weihrauch has a fine reputation in the world of airgun manufacture, so when it puts its name to a product, it should be of high quality. With the Weihrauch FT Exact, those distinctive red tins are indeed a sign of quality. Okay, it says “Made in Czech Republic” on the tin, so it’s no mystery as to which top-grade company produces this pellet, but to many enthusiasts who know their sport, that’s a good thing, and a stamp of reassurance.
The FT Exact is a traditional dome-headed lead pellet, with the classic waisted shuttlecock profile, but again, at 12 ft/lbs or below, this time-honoured design has proven to be the best and still dominates the market. Downrange efficiency is what it’s all about, and the highly consistent weight of 8.4-grains has proven a winner in both Field Target and HFT tournament shooting. These sports push hardware to the limit, so the rigours and demands of real-world hunting scenarios should be a given.
Open a tin of Weihrauch FT Exacts and the quality is obvious, with the slightly softer lead/reduced antimony mix resulting in wonderfully pliant pellets, perfectly able to mate with the rifling.
Overall, this top-grade airgun ammo is up there with the best.
