Junior Air Arms ambassador Abby Warren was recently awarded runner-up Young Sports Achiever of the Year at the Everybody Awards, which took place at Wrenbury Hall in Nantwich, Cheshire on Friday 7th October 2016.
The Everybody Awards is an annual event that acknowledges the contributions of local heroes in sport, play and active recreation and contains 11 categories. The Young Sports Achiever of the Year category shortlisted nominees aged 18 and under who have made remarkable achievements in sport.
For the 3rd time running, 14-year-old Abby was nominated for the accolade following a triumphant year taking the top positions in competitions such as the 2016 English Sporter Championship and the National Scout Shooting Competition where she won the sought-after Ken White trophy.
Junior Air Arms ambassador Abby commented: “I was thrilled to be shortlisted once again for my achievements in sporter rifle target shooting. In 2 years of competing, I have won every title within the sporter rifle world and am the current English Sporter Champion thanks to my faithful Air Arms S400.”
