John Deere

This is one of the most respected names in the world of global agriculture. Besides their impressive range of bright green tractors, John Deere also offer a four model range of utility ATV’s. Available in both 2×4 and 4×4 configurations and powered by petrol, electric and diesel motors, there’s a John Deere Gator Utility to suit every need and application.

Starting with the Compact and Professional series, the 8.2hp single cylinder petrol powered 4×2 CX is a short, maneuverable two seater with a constant velocity transmission and a 182kg payload capacity – ideally suited to parkland and gravel pathways. Similarly, the larger 4×4 Pro-gator 2030A offers 24hp three-cylinder diesel power, a five-speed synchromesh transmission and a maximum cargo capacity of 1,202kg in the far more capacious load bed.

Next comes the 4×2 and 4×4 T – Series, the TE providing 48 volt electrical power, the TS, TX and TX Turf 9.7 to 10.9hp petrol engines and a maximum 272kg payload whilst the TH 6×4 almost doubles capacity to 454kg whilst all T – Series models benefit from throttle pedal start, independent suspension and disc brakes.

For those looking to spend the majority of their time traversing more unpleasant surfaces, John Deere now offer the 18.5hp HPX and 21.9hp XUV 850. Able to carry a maximum of 635kg with an additional 590kg towing maximum, both boast locking diffs, on demand 4×4 along with MacPherson struts and coil over shock suspension. True go anywhere ATV’s, if its hardcore ability you’re looking for, these are the John Deere vehicles to go for.
